"A lovely oasis in the Historico Central area. Breakfasts were amazing! The walking tour was extremely helpful for Mexico City newbies - thanks Nadia! Hotel staff was helpful and no problems communicating in English."
"Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good and 24 free snack bar was a bonus. Room was clean and big enough for 2. If possible request a room not facing the street as it can be noisy. "
"Great historic hotel with a lot of character, and characters. Located in the busy Zona Rosa next several pedestrian streets, and a 5 minute walk to Roma Norte to the south, Reforma to the north, and 2 blocks from yhe Insurgente Metro Station. The hotel is historic and hence requires some grace. There are doormen, bell hops, concierge, and designated taxis which makes the hotel feel very safe. The public spaces are grand, and well layed out. The guest rooms are spartan, but well maintained. House keeping is very attentive, and if you need anything a quick call to the front desk answersmost needs. I greatly appreciated the laundry service, it was same day, and nicely pressed. Excellent water pressure, and the elevators work well. Breakfast is a buffet in the Garden Court, happy hour and live music in the Telephone Bar, very film noir. Best of all are the staff, the everyone is friendly, professional, and focused on providing the best service. I chose the hotel for the location and price, I was not disappointed. Thank Hotel Geneve for a very nice week's adventure. "

"El lugar es limpio, cerca del Zócalo y su personal muy afable.
Esta situado en una calle peatonal muy bulliciosa y los sonidos de los vendedores ambulantes y personas cantando llegan hasta las habitaciones, recomiendo tomar una habitacion que no dé a la calle"
"I will openly admit I chose this hotel purely based on its location, and for the fact that it was in James Bond’s Spectre. It was my first time in Mexico City so I wanted a hotel that was in the historical centre. I literally cannot say enough about the hotel. The room was beautiful (I had a junior suite) overlooking the Zocalo—clean, comfy bed, nice bath amenities, etc. The hotel itself is an icon from another era, with one of four of the largest glass ceilings in the world—absolutely stunning. The rooftop restaurant has spectacular views and a lovely buffet breakfast.
However, the most memorable part? The staff. Right from the moment I walked in, I had never felt so at home. Adrian checked me in and was so helpful in booking a tour and offering any help to make my stay the best. Mario, Miguel, and Alejandro were always at the front door ensuring I had my rides in the old elevator (it’s beautiful), and Miguel even walked me 10 minutes to my taxi pick up one morning when the streets were blocked off. It was truly a pleasure to have stayed at this icon of a hotel in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."
