An oasis of good service in the south Caucasus, especially after the flag change to Doubletree. Young, friendly, well trained English-speaking staff. Hotel has a great location across from Vernisage weekend market. Larger well maintained rooms. I had a junior suite with small balcony; although not much of a view. Hotel is well maintained, with attentive staff. Only complaint is the variety and quality of breakfast buffet. Very unusual items that would have been better suited for a lunch buffet. Nice hotel, clean, decent size rooms and comfortable bed. Front desk speaks English and is very friendly and helpful. Shower has rain option, and is nice and hot for a long time. Very central to everything, easy to walk to whatever you want to see.

Little things like not knowing when the room would be cleaned and having to ask on two occasions after 3pm. Breakfast had few western things but otherwise was ok.

The Staff! Out all the 64 countries I’ve visited and all the hotels, this place had the kindest, most helpful, down to earth staff I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
