"I hate critiquing this place because the staff was so wonderful, but...this flower of a hotel is a very old place, but beautiful and well maintained. I'd go so far as to say that's it's big draw - Beaucoups charm. It's contrasts. The roof top restaurant is the best view in Alexandria, but the food is crap. I had thought there was a pool and beach access and there is; 44 minutes away at another hotel and the shuttle leaves once a day. The rooms are big with high ceilings and the location is right on the street along the Ocean and the views are terrific. But...If I had it to do all over, I'd get a room at a hotel with a pool and beach access, 'cause that's what you go to Alexandria for."
"Room was clean, with nice view of the Mediterranean. They were slightly outdated though. Breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were always kind and willing to help."
"Quaint hotel with simple, nice rooms. My room had a big window with good daylight. The school across the street can be noisy, but managable with closed window and AC. Nice staff and cozy lobby with enough space to work. Good amenities. Pleaae note, wifi is only available in lobby."

"It’s a nice place to stay I encountered noisy atmosphere because the hotel had a tournament of kids from certain schools.
Otherwise the hotel is pretty nice but needs a car or Taxi for transport to downtown"
