"Very friendly staff. Pool and hiking trail onsite. Restaurant had great options. It's close to town and the tour companies will come pick you up. Wifi in the room was good. "
"Breakfast is pretty bad and a whopping 54$ for two. This is mind blowing seeing how a fancy restaurant here is less. Eggs are buffet style and under cooked. Bread was not too good. Fruit was good. Extremely loud anywhere you are in the resort with kids screaming at the pool. Clearly no filter on the pool system only pumps. Pillows are not comfortable and too big. Cabana was nice with a good view. We ate every day about 100m down the road at the falling leaves hotel/black obsidian and it was much cheaper and really good food. The restaurant said they get lots of cahal pech customers due to them having better and much cheaper food. On check in we were told that the breakfast started at 7:00 am so we figured that the cheap looking buffet was included. I mean even a cheap hotel like holiday inn has a free buffet breakfast. To our surprise only after making ourselves a tiny plate we were told that not everyone had included breakfast. Would have been nice to know during check in. Price for hotel was very good and i still think it deserves a solid 4 stars as we spend little time at the property. We will probably stay somewhere a tad more expensive next time. Could not get wine glasses for our room. Room had no glass at all. We were here for our anniversary and had to drink our fancy water bottle straight from the bottle. Yes they offered a cheap plastic dixie cup but i would rather drink from the bottle thank you!! Supper looked decent in terms of atmosphere. Shower was nice."
"Wifi was spotty when it worked, Basically locked in at night. Room key doesn't fit security gate, but managed to get it open so we could go out at 6am. No staff around to open it, I wasn't trying to be quiet about it either."
"Staff were so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Great location! Beautiful trail to the river. If possible, the small extra cost for a balcony room is definitely worth it! "
"This place is great. My only negative is we were under the restaurant. So when it opens at 6:30am we hear all foot traffic. Other than that reception and grounds were excellent!"
"OMG, Jaguar's Creek is even better than the videos on YouTube! Wish we could stayed longer, but we had another hotel reservation in another city. We are going back soon and staying at Jaguar's Creek for a week:), Carlos and his staff was wonderful...professional, friendly, respectful, and made every guests feel special. Jaguar's Creek is a MUST for nature lovers!"
