we love staying here it was right next to the train station and a great little ramen shop. there were other businesses nearby such as a Lawson's and some other restaurants. it was about a 5 minute walk to the mall. the beds were great and the room was large. bedroom 301 we absolutely loved it and would stay there again

Room was clean, comfortable and relatively spacious. Breakfast was very good and lots of options. Location was great. Train station, castle, canal road, mall and restaurants all in walking distance. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in Kurashiki at Yoruya. It’s a small, intimate hotel located on the edge of the Bikan Historical Quarter, within quick walking distance yet slightly removed and quiet (at least when we were there).
The service level and attention to detail were top notch. All the staff we encountered were courteous and helpful and made us immediately feel at home. Upon arrival, our bags were whisked from the taxi and we were offered a personal and attentive check-in.

Excellent breakfast. Responsive and friendly staff. No frills in room but many amenities at front desk. 10 minute walk to station, and 8 minute drive to Sanyo. Shopping and eateries within a few minutes in all directions.

The staff was amazing. The food was excellent. The facilities were traditional and made an authentic experience. The food was amazing and you need a very large appetite to taste everything.
Making a reservation directly with the staff is very easy as they have staff that can speak English very well.

Great stay. Room had everything I needed & was clean/comfortable. Staff made hospitality clear even when our common vocabulary was limited. Close to shopping/dining/public transportation & also walkable. I extended my stay!

I stayed at the Kyoto Via Inn before and had great impression, so I booked the Okayama Via Inn as well. However, the hotel is convenient as it is connected to the train station but there's a restroom smell in my room and full of black mold around the window that makes me feel quite uncomfortable.
