"I had a great stay at the Hyatt in Cartagena. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out—especially Dina at reception, who was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She made check-in smooth and set the tone for the entire experience. The location is a huge plus. There’s a convenient grocery store right behind the hotel, a major mall right next door, and the beach is directly across the street—everything you need is within walking distance. The hotel pool was also a highlight—clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a day out. Overall, this hotel offers comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I’d definitely stay here again"

"Overall it was an absolutely GREAT location and size room. However, in my room, everything seemed really low so I believed it was perhaps technically an “accessible” room but was told it was not. Also, I didn't initially know how to work the AC or TV. It was excessively hot upon entry BUT- I got an early check- in! There was no introductory instructions and I like to spend time in my room upon arrival. Later I discovered you can change some channels to speak in English. But that was a lil frustrating. And then I had no hot water the entire stay! It was luke- warm at best. But I needed HOT water. The water was warmer at the beach- which was at least walking distance! 💁‍♀️ I just hope the Hotel remembers to justly compensate me as discussed at check out to accommodate the situation. "

"Hotel is much older than the website pictures. Major renovation on the beach, which was undisclosed, making our oceanview balcony and the outdoor pool unusable. Food was mediocre. Old towels. No kleenex in rooms. This property is 2 star at best."
