This was a cute little hotel. Comfy bed, hot shower, friendly staff, and a refreshing pool. Not fancy but super relaxing with pretty views- much nicer than staying in San Gil. I highly recommend staying here.

El hotel Santa Sofía Casa Boutique es encantador! Las habitaciones son impecables y muy cómodas y el servicio es excelente. Adriana y todo el personal se aseguran de que los huéspedes se sientan a gusto y que se lleven la mejor experiencia de Barichara. El hotel es muy bonito y refleja el estilo arquitectónico de la ciudad. Cuenta con una vista imponente desde la piscina y el comedor y donde uno se puede relajar a gusto.

I had an excellent experience. The room was exceptionally clean, the property felt safe and well-maintained, and the spa was absolutely wonderful. Overall, a fantastic stay and truly deserving of five stars!

This is a great hotel. Love the decor. The staff were exceptional. It's in a great location. It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was very good, a nice variety. The room was extremely clean and again the decor was the best. Great size bathroom with hot water, very good water pressure. The bed was very comfortable. Only negative maybe get more comfortable pillows. Amazing views from the roof. But overall this is a great place today. I would definitely stay there again.

The town is a Hidden gem. Perfect combination of history, welcoming locals, and beautiful landscape. Walking to the top of el cerro and through the town, while hearing from a charismatic guide how and why things were and are. Later to the creek with natural toboggans, clean water and amazing views. You can enjoy the lower parts or if you want, you can climb over and through rock formations to see even better places. Then to the hotel, a perfect place to put everything together and rest. Perfect weekend getaway - staycation. If what you are looking for is an all amenities, active, accessible, stay- this is not for you.
