"The rooms are very clean. The showers have strong water pressure. Depending on the location of your cottage, the lobby may be far away, so you may need to take the shuttle bus. However, the shuttle bus always picks you up quickly, so it was a very nice environment."

"We loved staying at this resort for a girls trip. Such warm staff and elegant surroundings. Great choice of dining and pools plus not too far from airport and main town. Monkeys played on our balcony’s, local cuisine was delicious and relaxing by the pool was perfect. Thank you! "

"The rooms were well appointed with everything you needed. Loved having the wardrobe in the bathroom area. We used the balcony in the morning and after sunset when it was cooler. The buffet breakfast had a lot of great choices - just don’t go too late as it gets very busy! The bar cocktails were very reasonably priced and tasted great. It was very handy having plenty of free carparking too. Definitely would stay again. "

"Everything was excellent but something worth considering is the practice of guests who put towels and a book on the sun beds before breakfast to hold a space by the pool or by the seaside. We watched people put their towel down and sunscreen then go off sight seeing for three hours and returning to their beds. It is selfish and unfair when there is limited umbrella space with sunbeds. The hotel needs to somehow monitor and ban this selfish behaviour. "

"5 star place! Price, location, condition and what you get is amazing! Only one thing would be great if they upgrade tv in the room. Ppl now like to have smart tv with Netflix and YouTube. "

"Our second visit to the Bayou hotel was just as good as the first. The staff were incredibly welcoming and again we were given vouchers for free welcome drinks. This time our room was larger and just as clean and well equipped. There is a basket of snacks and treats in each room, all free. "
