Great hotel in tongren

We fully enjoyed our five-day stay in an executive suite at this swanky hotel. The breakfast was truly amazing with so many healthy options! The park close by was beautifully landscaped with blossoming trees in early spring and had a very comfy walking trail surrounding a lake. The staff was very professional and courteous, helping us in every possible way. The best part was the high-pressure shower that made me feel standing underneath a waterfall! Also enjoyed a delicious dinner with in-laws...

Super recommend. Location is the best by far. Rooms big and very new. But over all that the staff was so amazing. We just left and would love to come back. Our son forgot his backpack in the train station and the manager was so helpful with all the calls. And after police helped us find. We are in love with China.

It was a lovely stay at a local residence just by the river and main bridge. The decor was very tasteful. We loved walking along both sides of the river and exploring. No English was spoken but my daughter speaks Chinese so this wasn’t an issue. Local breakfast of noodles and egg. It was charming.

All service requests were met promptly and graciously Room was spacious. And well appointed. Hotel location was well chosen. We enjoyed our stay.

Before the trip, I went through a lot of websites, and found that it seemed impossible to find a hotel without smoking issues--people in Guiyang smoke in public areas including 5 stars hotels. Some complained about cigar smell in their non-smoking rooms--the worst was that it's the same after changing rooms. After reading reviews in Chinese and English, I concluded that at least, Kempinski's rooms are free form smoking. I especially asked for a room on the non-smoking floor at check-in....

A nice hotel in a popular area. Close to Qingyun Market/Pedestrian street and Jiaxiu Lou. Walking distance. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. There’s a coffee and puer tea bar in the lobby where guests can enjoy for free. Breakfast buffet was diverse. For the price we paid, it was worth it. The only thing I’d complain is the gym and swimming pool facility is actually outside of the hotel. They are an affiliate of the hotel. And the door doesn’t open till 9am which is kind of late for...

Great staff - good location

Very helpful staff!

It’s a nice hotel, located in the business district and close to a beautiful park. It’s a bit removed from the heart of Guiyang; therefore, it requires a taxi ride to go just about everywhere. Facility is great and staff is friendly and helpful. The concierge staff could use more English skills.
