"Room & entire premises extremely cold. Central radiators were off. She turned on the AC in the room and set it to cool to 73ºF, but the room was in the 50's. I figured out how to reset it and left for dinner. We returned to no electricity. We had to negotiate a candle.
Room was extremely small, only 2 ft on each side of a double bed, which was lumpy. No place for suitcases. She suggested we open them in the car and take in what we needed. Bathroom was clean, but small with no room to put anything. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special."
"Beautiful and tranquil. Well thought out design of the rooms and property. Minimalist yet architecturally aesthetic.
Delicious breakfast brought to the room"
"The rooms are located behind reception. They were clean no views but the breakfast offered a wide variety. The coffee was good full sized americano coffee
The room was comfortable with goid size bathroom with good shower head. Would select this hotel again."
"The breakfast was delicious and very generous, and I particularly appreciated the availability of Kosher meals. Additionally, the hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff were consistently kind and patient. It smelled so nice.

"We chose this for an overnight stop, with our pet furry friend, on our way from Santander to Portuguese Silver Coast. Pet friendly and self-catering appealed to us. The communication and the welcome to the lovely property, from Sandra, was exceptional. She went out of her way to show us the accommodation and walk us through the pretty village to the local restaurant, telling us a little about the place as we went.
The property is immaculate and very cosy with everything you need for a short stay. We would have happily stayed longer and will certainly visit again.
The staff at the restaurant were lovely too and the food was excellent and worth the little extra we paid. It's not the cheapest Portuguese restaurant but quite a surprising find in such a small village. We can recommend the steak and the bacalhau.
We were very happy with our stay and will return there on our homeward journey. Thank you for the kindness and the welcome we received. "
