We loved this Motel One. The gentleman that checked us in was so kind and explained everything that was available for us. He spoke great English so that was an extra plus! The room was very clean and no outside noises. The lobby is very nice and for a fee, the most beautiful buffet I’ve ever seen with everything imaginable. It’s a postcard presentation. I stayed there during my two weeks in Germany and really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and quiet. If I am ever in the area again I will be sure to book here.
Its a classic full service hotel in the best way possible, this level of services is missing is many of today's hotels. Services and amenities (room service, gym, spa, bar and lounge) across the board and a very helpful and friendly staff. I was there 1 night for work Room was quiet, comfortable and you can never pass up a wonderful German buffet. Highly recommended.
Loved our stay at Insel! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The location is very central to lots of food, shopping and activities. The breakfast in the morning was excellent! We would definitely stay here again!
I just can't say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. We got there late and tired and the front desk guy was absolutely one of the best I've ever dealt with. Just fantastic. I speak ZERO German, and they were as friendly as they could be to me. GREAT JOB Steigenberger!
There was a kitchen, but I didn't use it. The interior design and everything else was very nice, compfy and functional. Very clean, quiet and accommodating service by friendly personal. The inn is also conveniently located to a public transportion hub.
The location of this hotel was fantastic. Walking distance to squares, restaurants, and shopping. And public transit options available right across the street.

Very new, very clean, very close to Cologne Cathedral and train station, many restaurants next to the hotel. Strongly recommended for visiting Cologne.
