Loved staying here! The location was good for us -- we enjoy walking, and were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go. There are restaurants close by. The complimentary spa was AMAZING!!!! We reserved the spa for 10:00 in the evening -- perfect end to a day full of walking. It was about a 10 minute walk from the subway station to the hotel. The staff was very, very accommodating. Wonderful staff and breakfast. Room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities! Easy to get there with the metro...you literally come up out of the subway and arrive at the hotel. Very cool views of St Stephens church and the delightful Christmas market!
We enjoyed our stay at The Companion hotel! The rooms are small, but designed well so that you still feel like you have plenty of space for storage and separation of bathroom ammenities. The gentlemen at the front desk were super friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. There is a great restaurant and bar located at the property and it is also conveniently located to the train station, making it easily accessible to everywhere in Vienna. Overall, this hotel is a great value!

Very easy to get from the hotel to the other locations we were interested in. A minor, is that the Breakfast was not included, but that was not a problem.
Chose the hotel due to its convenient location between the Hauptbahnhof and the Ring. Though a tiny bit dated (with some recent upgrades) it exceeded expectations; especially the level of attention and care from the staff. When we arrived in Vienna, many streets were closed for a parade and the taxi could not get closer than 1 km from the hotel. I am mobility impaired and the hotel sent someone with a wheelchair to take me to the hotel and then he returned to take my companion with 2 suitcases to the hotel. Service in excess! The breakfast buffet was fabulous and the staff was the best! Next time in Vienna I will definitely return.
Old apartment building concerted to a boutique hotel. It was done very well with stylish comfortable rooms and nice amenities. If you are looking for a conventional hotel this is not it. If you want a room that is comfortable and stylish with fine amenities coupled with great service, I would highly recommend the Altstadt.
I have the highest praise for the service in this hotel. It was exceptional. They put so much thought into the smallest details: from the chalkboard message next to our room welcoming our family to their hotel to the petit fours and sparkling wine on our bed to help unwind after the long flight. Not much of a boutique hotel person but definitely was very pleased with this hotel. Largest bed I have seen or slept on in Europe , pillows soft and comfortable. Room and bathroom larger than most places and well design. Close to all main attractions. Definitely would recommend to stay here .
The hotel is on a great location close to the train station and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are very modern and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.
I had a great stay at Hotel Schani UNO City. It's a modern, eco friendly hotel. The staff is very helpful. It's located right next to Vienna International Center. I will definitely stay there again.
