"We just spent two delightful nights with the good people who staff the Magnificient Hotel. That is rare for me to begin a review in this fashion. But, to be sure, it is the people who you interact with that make all the difference. A diamond studded property shines dimly when the staff is unengaged, indifferent or impersonal. And a hotel with employees who truly treat you as guests, and not mere customers, is what makes a stay a memorable experience. That is what you can expect here. While the property is serviceable (especially so for the price) if it the people who put the magnificience into this place. It began weeks before our arrival when arrangements were made for collection at the airport. And they were there, and waited an hour after we were not. After 32 hours of travel, seeing your name on a sign at the airport is, well, magnificient, and an attention to detail repeated without fail. Simply put, "guest services" is what makes this place shine. And when we left it felt as though we did so as friends, as one of them accompanied us to the taxi, and draped a khaada"
