"The hotel is definitely Mexican Charm. Our room was clean, plenty of hot water for showering, daily maid service and comfortable bed. The only down side in the room we had was you could hear some road noise now and again and the fan for the ac unit was a bit loud. The staff is absolutely wonderful and service was excellent. The food was not 5 Star, but you could find something at each meal to eat. We were able to find chairs by the pool each day and if you were having trouble finding one a staff member would help find one for you. We would definitely stay at this resort again."

"This location is prime for surfers and the beach is not overly busy. The property is very clean, food is good and it was nice to find little spots to hideaway from the kids for a coffee/break. Very well designed though a massive property (prepare to get your steps in). Our room was near/over one of the outdoor restaurants so we were woken to dragging furniture at 5am. other than that it was a great resort!"

"My stay at Riu Vallarta was amazing. From the moment I arrived, the bell boy Marco was so friendly and helpful. The concierge was also lovely. It was a birthday trip so they made sure to send me a lovely gift to my room. Overall, the service is amazing."

"Our family had a wonderful time at Barcelo PV. We were upgraded to the family room at no additional cost. It was very spacious and both of our kids slept well. The ocean view was stunning! All of the staff were so kind and courteous. The Barcy kids club was awesome. Our daughter was able to play with other kids and they made the coolest souvenirs to bring home. Carlos and Maria are so great with children. They were like family for the 10 days we were there. Fernando, Anaih and Victor were part of the entertainment crew and made pool days extra fun. "
