This property is a few months old and is still sparkling new. I came through Lima last month and stayed at the JW Marriott. I didn’t enjoy my stay there and am thrilled I booked the Pullman instead on my return. The hotel is smaller but the staff, guest rooms, service and amenities are all beyond what I expected. Location, location, location!!! If you’re looking for action, crowds, and the tourist crunch, then this is NOT the place for you. Located in the upscale San Isidro neighborhood, you’re close enough, yet far enough away from the madness of Miraflores. Super safe neighborhood, great dining options close by, and upscale shopping. But, not snooty or pretentious. The hotel is safe, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good.

We really enjoyed our night in Lima. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. They have complimentary coca tea in the reception area. The area where it is located, Miraflores, is very safe. Sol de Oro was in a great location close to restaurants, bars, and shops in the heart of Miraflores. The hotel is beautiful and even included breakfast every day we were there with great food.
