I have been traveling to Lima several times ver the last 10 years. I always select Tierra Viva Miraflores at Gral. Mendiburu. The staff is just superb - from check-in to breakfast to assistance with taxis, etc. Suggest selecting a room facing the inside courtyard for lower steer noise.
Stayed two nights in November 2015. Space around the king-size bed was modest, nice bathroom, everything worked well. WiFi was nice to have. There is an elevator. Breakfast on the 8th floor was good and offered considerable variety.
Most impressive was how helpful the front desk staff was. Everyone there had very good English, and they were always quick with answers, map, assistance getting taxis, etc.

We really enjoyed our night in Lima. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. They have complimentary coca tea in the reception area. The area where it is located, Miraflores, is very safe. It is the preferred area for tourist due to its safety and available restaurants. Uber works very well in Lima, which can take you from the hotel to the city center to see the various sights (main square, cathedral and museums). The price is very reasonable considering the area. Ingresé al hotel pasado media noche y solo me dejaron estar hasta la 1:30 pm y no 2:30 por más que pedi algo de consideración por ingresar muy tarde al hotel, no parece un hotel que estaba lleno así que un poquito de flexibilidad hubiera hecho mejor mi experiencia
I really enjoyed my time in Tambo 1. It's a great location and clean and walkable to many places. The Breakfast was great and plenty of it. We did have an incident where my sister fell in the shower and lacerated her head and bruised her back. I did bring it to the attention of the personnel and they took matters into their hands. BUt be very careful with the very slippery floor in the bathroom. Do request a mat for the shower prior to occupying. Other than that we really enjoy the place.
This property is a few months old and is still sparkling new. I came through Lima last month and stayed at the JW Marriott. I didn’t enjoy my stay there and am thrilled I booked the Pullman instead on my return. The hotel is smaller but the staff, guest rooms, service and amenities are all beyond what I expected. I stayed less than 24 hours as I had an early flight but it was the perfect and central spot to stay, close to Parque Kennedy and tons of options for food and shopping. Staff was awesome overall and even prepped an early breakfast to-go bag for me because I had to leave hotel so early to get to airport. Thanks!
