If you want to give your credit card some exercise, head out to Balboa Strip Mall in Miraflores. Splash some more cash at Paso 28 de Julio, Larco Avenue, and Larcomar Shopping Center.
Absolutely awesome place. I got upgraded because of Orbitz, so had a very nice big room. If you like light though, get a room with a view to the outside.

Stayed two nights in November 2015. Space around the king-size bed was modest, nice bathroom, everything worked well. WiFi was nice to have. There is an elevator. Breakfast on the 8th floor was good and offered considerable variety.
Most impressive was how helpful the front desk staff was. Everyone there had very good English, and they were always quick with answers, map, assistance getting taxis, etc.

I stayed less than 24 hours as I had an early flight but it was the perfect and central spot to stay, close to Parque Kennedy and tons of options for food and shopping. Staff was awesome overall and even prepped an early breakfast to-go bag for me because I had to leave hotel so early to get to airport. Thanks!
Excellent location! We were in walking distance of so many places we wanted to explore, so many great restaraunts and were able to easily catch an uber or taxi to any place too far to walk. The hotel also helped us to arrange a shuttle from the airport as we had a really late arrival.

I loved staying here! The apartment style room was so convenient, the hot breakfast was delicious each morning and it was so centrally located for all of the activities we had lined up. I also appreciated that the Quick Llama transport from the Lima airport could take you and pick you up directly for so cheap!
We spent ten days in this excellent hotel. Everything was great. The room with comfortable beds and a HD TV with a very good selection of directv channels, the location, the free breakfast, the computer center (with 5 pcs and a printer 24-7), the gym, the security of the building, etc. I really love it. The best part was the employees. I felt like I was at home with my friends. Surely, I will be back next time I visit Lima.
I really enjoyed my time in Tambo 1. It's a great location and clean and walkable to many places. The Breakfast was great and plenty of it. We did have an incident where my sister fell in the shower and lacerated her head and bruised her back. I did bring it to the attention of the personnel and they took matters into their hands. BUt be very careful with the very slippery floor in the bathroom. Do request a mat for the shower prior to occupying. Other than that we really enjoy the place.
Excellent location and customer service. I arrived at 2 a.m. and somebody immediately opened the front door for me, let me park indoors and helped me with my suitcases. All the employees were very professional, cleaned, helpful and friendly.

I arrived at 4:30 am and check in was fast, and the staff was friendly. I ended up leaving my phone charger and they immediately reached int to me, since I’m staying again next week, and had already left for the airport, they said they’d hold onto it for me. The only issue I have with the hotel, and this is more of a Peru issue than an issue specific to this hotel, is the way they handle food. For example, the breakfast milk was left out for many hours not being refrigerated which could cause a health issue. Other than that, we had a great stay.
