"The Pier House has an excellent location to Duval Street and Mallory Square, but there are numerous opportunities for improvement overall. We enjoyed our dinner entrees on our arrival night, and then drinks at the beach bar a couple of afternoons. The seaweed is a problem everywhere, but it was not raked daily at the small sandy beachfront. Our rooms had small issues that weren’t addressed until we contacted the front desk. The elevator in my building was not working properly (door closing issues). Resort fees ($60/night) and parking fees ($40/day) can really add up. The grounds are lush and beautiful. Two near-by waterfront resorts have recently been renovated, and they are vibrant, lively and welcoming, with gorgeous Key West decor. Pier House has a much more conservative, old school, and one-note feel throughout the property. "

"The rooms were beautiful and roomy. The staff was super friendly as well. They do run a shuttle to and from the beach and Duval street. The hotel really is nice. Not much to do in the area but plenty to do at the hotel."

"We stayed 3 nights for my 40th Birthday. The rooms were clean and the shuttle service was incredible. The pool was fantastic! Make sure you do not bring any outside food or drinks into the pool area. It is not allow.The bar tender at the Flama cabana was not just totally unprofessional but down right rude to us. Other than that everything was great but we will stay closer to Duval our next visit!"

"This was a great resort for my bf, me and some friends to stay. Ubers were quick access, the location was great, The Stoned Crab was good, limited breakfast but good enough for us so that we could still have great lunches and dinners away from the resort while we were out and about. Would def come back! Loved the treat of the turtles at the resort too- wasn’t expecting that! "
