"This is a very peaceful hotel, perfect for a complete wind down. We had been on a 5 day soul music festival and chose this hotel to follow it for a few days. The hotel has another restaurant overlooking a small sheltered bay with access to the sea for a swim ( take your snorkel)and run a shuttle service to and from hotel for lunch or dinner, the staff there are really good especially the manager Nemanja. It is safe to say we will return to this hotel and of course Gozo!"

"We had a great stay at the Voco. It’s right in the centre of St Julian’s and has handy transport links to other cities and the airport. The hotel is very clean & the rooftop pool is a bonus! It would have been helpful for the staff to inform us at check in that there was a connecting bridge to the intercontinental where we could use their facilities too. It can get a bit nosey at night but once you shut your balcony door you can’t hear much! Would definitely stay again!"

"This hotel is in the middle of a largely residential area but the rest of the island is easily accessible via Uber/Bolt taxis at very reasonable prices. We only had breakfast at the hotel which was very good with a full choice available. It is worthwhile walking around the districts adjoining the property where there are several villages wth small bars and restaurants . We found the local people to be very friendly. Many of the buildings are very historic and beautiful."

"A good find in St Julian’s Breakfast ample Amenities good as you can use the gym and swim facilities of the sister hotel intercontinental via a through corridor. But please can Expedia make it clear whether guests have to pay a daily rate to use these facilities or not on the advert. Please can the property also subsidise the parking - you have to park in a public underground car park that is about a 5-10 min walk and no direct access to the hotels."

"After spending a few days in busy, crowded Valletta, Ramla Bay Resort was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the ocean and island views. Nice room with a big balcony, great restaurants, and a friendly staff. There are multiple swimming pools and a beach area - all with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas."

"Fantastic new hotel, literally only just opened in the St Julian's area. Fantastic welcoming staff and super clean massive room. Breakfast was second to none. The areas which were open were beyond superb. A few teething problems which must be expected with a brand new hotel as new staff are being trained and everything is bedding in. Minor gripes are: - The feature point of this hotel must be the roof pool and rooftop bar but unfortunately this hasn't been completed yet and I would suggest it will be a few months yet before it is.(Disappointingly this ISN'T stated on the holiday booking websites). - There is a Hard Rock Cafe at the front of the hotel and the hotel is (sort of) built into the side of a hill. Strangely there is no way to go from the Cafe to the hotel for hotel guests other than by climbing a pretty steep (slightly slippery underfoot) hill which runs beside the hotel so I would have a rethink about staying here if you have mobility issues. St Julians is a pretty lively area and great for the young at heart who like a late night. We loved our short stay here and will definitely return but will definitely wait a few months until everything is up and running smoothly."
