Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. "Wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen. Einzig bei der Dusche waren die Dichtungen defeckt, darum ist das Wasser auf den Plattenboden ausgelaufen. Sonst die Betten waren sehr angenehm. Wenn die Bettwäsche verschwitzt war wurde sie nach drei Tagen wieder gewechselt. Kompliment.

Everything in the room was old. The room was big enough and the balcony was nice. The bathroom got very smelly from time to time. All of the staff were very nice. Food at the restaurant wasn’t great but good enough. Pool and playgrounds were nice as we have a 3 year old. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but it was good enough for what we needed at the time.
We made the right decision to take our first trip to Croatia, the right decision to visit Istria, the right decision to stay in Rovinj & absolutely hit the bullseye with Residence Vaal. This is an absolute gem of a property & Denis, Aleksandra and their team, particularly Laura & Aleksandar, could not have done more to make our trip a thoroughly enjoyable one, & to ensure that we want to hurry back.

A super boutique hotel.very friendly staff who spoke excellent english. Very clean. Our room was large with a wonderful view over the harbour. Right in the center of the town but still quiet and just slightly off the main tourist track. Good breakfast.highly recommended.would definitely stay there again.
We stayed in late April 2026 (two couples). The description of this property: Location, location, location!! We were in the heart of the old city--it was fantastic! Some previous travelers expressed concern about the challenge of getting their luggage up to the property. While the concern is valid (you need to either be in shape or bring only essential luggage pieces), it wasn't a problem in our case and we were handsomely rewarded with a most memorable (in the best way possible) experience. ...
Fantastic place to bring young kids! Right on the most beautiful lagoon with so many fun options for the kids to play- water slide, inflatable, snorkeling. Our apartment had two bedrooms, a very well-appointed kitchenette, and a little living room. Easy and beautiful walk into town, or can take a bike taxi or the tourist train. Excellent, kind service. It was great for our family and we’d love to stay here again!
I've been going to Porec for 5 years now, primarily in the summer months. The Parentium is far and away the nicest resort in the area and usually the most expensive.
