"It was our second time at Maistra Funtana. And we have already booked for next year, again. A very well organized and very good managed hotel. It should deserve at least 4*. Tasty food, clean and recently renovated rooms, a lovely pool kids pool and a nice beach with a lot of included sports offerings. There is Porec old town a 10 minute walk away and lots of activities along the beach too. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be returning."

Very good option on staying overnight for solo travelers as the price is not so expensive. Also the cleanliness is great in the room plus large bedding.
Beautiful hotel, the value for the price is remarkable. A bit far from town centre that requires about a half hour walk without a car. Staff are all excellent, and both the breakfast and dinner are great. Overall, incredible experience!

Such a unique stay right in the heart of Rovinj! Marijana was an amazing host - extremely helpful with instructions for parking and getting to the property, and full of great local recommendations. She even went above and beyond with some welcome treats, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The location is fantastic for exploring Rovinj on foot, and the rooms were comfortable and cozy after a day out. A really memorable place to stay, and we’d definitely recommend it!
Nice, small hotel away from the action. About 15 minute walk to heart of the old city (which we did many times), and 5 min to many really good restaurants; close to park and beaches. Really comfortable, great breakfast and nice helpful staff. Rick Steves recommends!

One concern way that the life vests on the ferry were locked in a container. If there was an emergency, that delay could cause a fatal accident. We believe the ferry service was a private company.
