"Very quiet and calm neighborhood close to Munster. A really good restaurant and a nice outdoor area to sit and eat. A very nice track for walking or running nearby, by the river.

We weren't here to see Recklinghausen so I can't speak for the local area.
Room is comfortable. Bed harder than I like - but you can ask for a pillow top if it is too hard for you too.
Breakfast quite good.
Even number rooms look out on the dead-end street and the odd ones out of the construction area.

Mauritzhof is a home-away-from-home! The staff are delightful and the vibe is just right. Really enjoyed my stay immensely! There was only one problem, beyond their control--I sent a favorite suit/shirt out for cleaning and somehow the dry cleaners damaged the suit. Such a pity, but c'est la vie. Great place!!
This hotel is in a great location to enjoy the city. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful while checking in. Our room was fine - simple and clean. I would definitely recommend.
We were looking for something in the proximity of Münster so this worked great. The hotel was very modern, offered underground parking for a reasonable rate, and was in a great location of Lüdinghausen as well. We had a balcomy with a grest river view and a kitchen we used more then once for the traditional European breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
