"For some reason we received a room for people with disabilities which ironically had one shower head that didn't work at all and the second shower head was coming off the wall so it would stand up straight. Weak water pressure. There were tiny hairs everywhere. I noticed that the bottom of the mattress was covered in pee stains. The coffee machine was weirdly complicated. Lastly, the receptionist was so impatient and frankly quite rude. Would not return here."

A hidden gem. Place was super clean! Staff was friendly and offering us things when we came and went. Easy check in (and we were late af). Fridge and microwave were perfect for a stay with our small children. Shower was clean and water pressure and temps were great! Next to mcdonalds and i hop for easy dining. excellent location. So close to everything. So happy with our stay. Thank you!

Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. This was our second time staying here. The room is not huge but has enough storage like drawers under the bed. We got lucky again to get checked in super early which was much appreciated after taking a cross country red-eye flight. The gym at the basement is well equipped. Front desk staff are friendly & very welcoming. I’d highly recommend this place!!

My boyfriend and I stayed for Valentine’s Day and upon arriving we were greeted with kindness and 2 glasses of champagne! Check in was perfect. The room was perfect. Definitely one of my favorite hotels for sure. We also ate at my favorite restaurant right 10 steps across the street! We could literally see the entrance right from our room window. It was a beautiful experience here.
We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen
