"We really enjoyed the high end but relaxed atmosphere in the lobby. What a delight to see after jaunting all around Europe. We loved the roof top pool the service and food were incredible. The room was spacious and bathroom was also very luxurious, clean and comfortable. We will definitely make this a destination spot again one day!"
"This hotel is literally connected to the Chamartin train station which makes it a great location for travelers. It's a first rate operation by all measures. An excellent breakfast buffet is available at no additional cost."

If museums are on your list, you might want to check out the upcoming exhibitions at Museo de la Guardia Civil in Chamberí. You can also discover the monuments and art galleries in the area. If you want to see more of the museums in Madrid, Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum and National Prado Museum aren't far.
You might want to play some rounds at Green Canal Golf, located 1.8 mi (2.8 km) from central Madrid. Let yourself be amazed at the art galleries and museums in the area too. If Green Canal Golf doesn't quite scratch your golfing itch, Club de Campo Villa de Madrid, and Centro Nacional de Golf are also nearby.
Ideal location for hopping on/off Metro. *Airport easy access - #8 train to #10 - one stop and short walk to hotel (r/t - 9€).
Close to bakeries, wine bars, local grocery store (great wine prices). Room was modern, beds dreamy and desk w comfort chair to work.
Service: Friendly & helpful. 6:00AM the restaurant not yet open and my Krupp maker did not work - so desk manager delivered my "perfect coffee" pronto & with a smile! Would definitely stay here again - one night not enough.
From reading the latest reviews, I already knew there was construction going on but it didn’t really interrupt my stay as I was out during the day. The room was beautiful and I’m glad I chose the room with a bigger balcony to have better range of view. I appreciate housekeeping for checking in whenever I forgot to leave the door sign and they always completed my request if I needed replacement of supplies. The only time I heard other people was when I was out on the balcony obviously, but not so...
We had a short stay here, however it was perfect. The room was very spacious and clean. The lobby was lovely and the staff was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!
The hotel consists of two buildings. We had booked a triple room which was not available due to work being done in one of the buildings. We were given two connecting rooms which was even better. The modern style rooms were on the small size, but were clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom towels were like new and the bedding was very comfortable. We had no problems with the free wifi. The hotel is in a nice and safe area outside of city center. The metro station was within easy walking...
We had a family double room for 3 adult and it’s roomy and comfortable. Right on Gran Via so it’s so easy for shopping and dining. The hotel has a roof top bar which has a beautiful view of Madrid. It’s an excellent place to spend the evening with friends/family.
The breakfast is GREAT with very nice setting and excellent varieties. Very happy with our stay.
I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. Later in my stay i discovered that the metro stationPlaza Castilla, was in walking distance from there but I can’t say much because did not ride the it. There are few options...
FABULOUS stay-THE LEVEL 15th floor for a week, with personal attention customer satisfaction! Offered quiet repose for breakfast and opportunity for meetings plus all day restorative tapas and tinto included! The staff graciously accommodated a gluten allergy issue for not only breakfast but throughout the day providing for "sin gluten" tapas. We fell in love with breakfast and Miguel’s daily gluten free offerings. (he even assured a small snack would be safe when other enjoyed pastries!) He...
Hotel and staff are nice. The only quirk is that it requires taking two separate elevators in different parts of the building to get to your room, but no huge deal. Staff and amenities are nice. Breakfast is amazing and definitely worth the added cost. My wife got pregnant here, so 10/10 recommended the bed.
As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. "Fresh" squeezed orange juice daily. Complimentary beer, wine, sandwiches, small salads, coffee and tea all day. An honor liqueur bar. Very clean and well...
We only stayed 1 night but the room was clean and quiet (we had an inner room). Bed was super comfortable & AC worked great. The location was very convenient for walking around the plazas & close to tons of bars & restaurants. We would stay again!
Very convenient location for walking to many shops and bars and restaurants. Even Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts one block away
Staff was young, spoke English and very helpful.
Loved our location with a small balcony overlooking the street. The windows and shutters did an amazing job blocking out street noise and lights.
Minor problems: not much overall good lighting. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the bedside lights--there was a switch on the bottom of the bed along with a switch...
I stayed at this hotel several times. This time with my dog. It was a very pleasant stay. Thé hôtel staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, nicely furnished. Hôtel is walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, parks. Overall a very great stay in Madrid.
Hotel is amazing! Location, all renewed (hotel and room), spacious room, parking lot on-site($21), nice reception service, open 24h!!! Plus: great social area for coffee and work over the reception.
Two negative points:
# I tried to manage the room temperature from the room and it did not work. It is December so it is not a problem but maybe it would be an issue if it was summer.
# there was some hair on the floor and in the bathroom sink, shower.. I believe cleaning could be improved.
