"Loved the outdoor pool. It was warm and perfect for swimming during winter. The breakfast was good but always room for improvement with bringing changes to the menu by including new items."

"There was a digital check-in. The clean room was a good size with good natural light. The road was a bit loud at times the rooms at the back should be okay. Handy spot. Good value"

"Loved the location of this property, walking distance to the waterfront and GMHBA. The layout was great, giving to living spaces you could separate. Would stay here again."

"Really enjoyed our night here. We got to the hotel well before checkin time as we had event on near location very early in the morning that day. Staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags with them securely and prioritised getting our room ready for us. They also realised I booked the wrong room and kindly gave us a bigger room with appropriate bedding. Room was spacious and very clean. We loved that the motel had gone put of there way to set up a Halloween theme there ,...

"Comfortable, clean recently renovated room. Great location. Quiet spot. Very good value. Would definitely stay again."

"Good location. Room was spacious but a little basic and needed more choices of teas and perhaps some complimentary water."

"Basic hotel accommodation at budget price but location was unbeatable being so close to CBD and waterfront. Management and reception staff extremely obliging. Indian restaurant adjacent served delicious take-away and was reasonably priced. Easy on site car parking."

"Clean room and friendly staff"

"Very nice place to stay overlooking the bay. Friendly staff, well-maintained property, clean and comfortable. They have a restaurant on site. However, the menu is fairly limited. But what I did have was excellent. Beautiful walking path right across from the hotel along the bay. Close to downtown restaurants and activities."

"Just off the water, this is a lovely hotel. It's quiet and had an easy walk along the water to get to Eastern Park. The town centre is about 1km away, and is also an easy walk. Close enough to the Spirit of Tasmania, and the staff were super-helpful and accommodating. Free parking just outside"

"Very convenient location close to Spirit of Tasmania terminal. "

"The hotel is simple and a little bit old, but it was clean and it is not far from the city center. I will expect more from the Best Western."

"Room was clean and very comfortable bed,no on-site parking."

"At first, I wasn’t sure if I made the right decision booking a room here. Just because the building looked rather old, I was at the wrong entrance trying to get in and I didn’t see any guests going in nor coming out. Nor did I see any staff during my stay. But to be honest, my stay wasn’t bad. In fact I slept pretty well. The room and bathroom was quite clean. I couldn’t figure out where to find the wifi password. That was one issue I had. Not sure if there were any other guests on my floor. It...
