This stylish new hotel in Kunming exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable, the gym nicely lit and well equipped, and the food delicious. Both Managers Liu and Jerry were professional. Overall a pleasant stay. I’d come again.

This hotel was a great find! It is very affordably priced with a good location in Kunming. It is within walking distance of a metro station. The main negative feature was the surprisingly dirty carpets in the hallways for the rooms. The lobby area and most common area were all pristine. But, when we got off the elevator to go our room, which was also clean, I was a bit shocked to see carpeting that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, with dirt stains all over the carpet. Friendly staff, modern decoration in the room, central location, convenient to everything

I have been traveling in china for about 2 weeks and stayed at various hotels. This holiday Inn by far is the best! From the clean and cozy rooms, to the warm and pleasant staff and excellent location, I would totally recommend any length of stay here.

This was a wonderful hotel in Kunming. The location was excellent! Convenient to many things and walkable neighborhood with markets nearby. The staff were BEYOND amazing and worked hard to communicate and ensure your comfort. The building may be a bit older, but the individual rooms were very modern clean and felt very luxurious- especially the shower! This will be my choice again in the future!💕

The hotel is located to the northeast of downtown Kunming. There are several restaurants across the street from the hotel offering barbecue and local dishes. The breakfast area is located basically next-door in a separate building offering Chinese-style breakfast and Western coffees. The hotel provides a free laundry service. It was basically “the guests washes (there were two washing machines on-site), and the Hotel dries (there were two dryers on-site), and delivers”. It worked out well.

Very nice hotel and great staff! Pool was nice, didn't get a chance to try the breakfast because we had to leave early the next day. Close to airport, so if you want to see some sites in Kunming City you'll have to take a DiDi, about a 45 minute ride.

This hotel could be one of the best Sofitel I have had stayed. Staff were warm and helpful, Dennis at front desk even helped us packed some larger gift items we bought, breakfast was to die for, view of the city and the lake from our room at 37 floor was unforgettable, this hotel has its uniqueness, love our 4 nights’ stay, so enjoyable.

Excellent hotel

We booked a fun and cute family room. Our kids were happy with the decorations. This is a new and premium 5 Stars hotel, but it is located a bit far from the city center. This hotel is not recommended if you plan to do a shopping at night.

An amazing green subtropical oasis with great service and great eats at the executive Lou ge.

The staff were great, were mostly able to communicate in English, they were peasant and accommodating, were able to extend our room at the same expedia price which was awesome. Really good location and staff helpful with advice and taxi. I will stay here rather than the intercontinental although it is a beautiful hotel but just a bit out of the way and expensive when the Crowne Plaza offers the same function in a better location,
