"If you just need a place to sleep during a visit to Stuttgart, this hotel is a good option. Know that it is about a 15-minute walk to the Schlossplatz and main train station. Very clean, comfortable beds, and the staff were very pleasant. Room is a little on the small side, but functionally adequate. The only problem we had was with the VERY small elevator. We often had trouble getting the door to close tight enough so it would work. There is a Rewe grocery nearby."

"Really convenient location about 5 minutes from Esslingen train station, with 2 supermarkets right around the corner. Nice to have cooking facilities, albeit small. Comfortable bed, strong shower, but sometimes a bad smell coming from the drain. Doors close very loudly, so maybe bring earplugs. The door to the common hallway slams loudly, so request a room at the far end of the corridor. Note: you need a smartphone for this place, as you receive your door code by email at 3 pm to check in, and if you don’t have a wifi signal it can be tricky. I logged on to the public wifi in the shopping mall across the street. You also check out with your phone."
