"As others have mentioned…you get what you pay for. We stayed for four days and it did the job. The hotel was clean. Bed linen clean and comfortable. Staff helpful. The location is a flat 15min walk to old town and there are bars and restaurants within a few minutes. I have my own rating system, this is a three glasses of wine hotel and my that I mean after three glasses it’s totally fine :)"

The hotel is situated in the old town and convenient to all parts of Riga. Te rooms are very clean and well-appointed. Everything works well.
There was an issue with our room when we arrived, but the front desk personnel, including the manager on site at the time, worked to switch our room and we were extremely satisfied.
We had an amazing stay in Gutenbergs Hotel, we loved the location and character of this hotel, their rooms are full of history, and the food and atmosphere of its restaurant in the rooftop was excellent. Staff were very professional and helpful. I requested 2 additional pillows and within minutes staff were at my door with them. It was a very clean and well maintained hotel. 20 minute Walking distance to the central attractions. Will definitely book there when I return to Riga.
Honestly one of the best and least expensive hotels i've stayed at, I didn't want to leave! The room and bathroom was perfect and the breakfast buffet was nice.
The rooms were huge. The person who chooses the sleeper couch is spared the snoring in the bedroom given the door that closes on it. Breakfast was promptly ready at 7am. Egg soufle was light and fluffy. Large selection. Front end help was superlative.
