We arrived late at night to find our room infested with cockroaches. Reception tried to play it down to climate but in all honesty, the room condition probably could be improved to prevent this from happening. This wasn’t our first stay in Tenerife or Canary Islands in general- never experienced this before. We changed rooms the same night. The room was very spacious with lots of storage and comfortable bed. The doors to the bathroom kept getting stuck, however, which might cause issues for children staying. The breakfast was nice, however arriving at 10am there was not much left and it was not refilled anymore. The pool area is ok, after rain, or kids splashing it would not be swept dry at all, similar to staircases which I found dangerous. Equally, nobody collecting the horrible PAPER cups they serve your drinks in. Bins are provided but not many people do it themselves. The two bars are very slow, day or night with one person serving at a time. The lunch menu at the bar is limited and just ok. We ended up going out for most meals. Most restaurants were 20 mins walk away or a short taxi ride away. We did dine at the hotel Asian restaurant one night which was pretty good. Overall we will not be returning to this hotel.

Despite some of the negative reviews, it was a great stay. Staff were great, attentive and helpful. Food was fantastic as well as the evening entertainment. The only downside for me was all of the young people in groups at the beginning of my stay, doing balloons and made the hotel smell very green which I found very inappropriate as there were families there with young children so harder policing around that would’ve been better.

Hotel was very clean. Beds very comfortable and food excellent. Daytime activities good and led by really friendly staff. Evening entertainment was awful. Our room overlooked golf course which was lovely and peaceful. Downside of this hotel is that it is at least a 20 minute walk to beach and any other shops/restaurants/bars, we had to take taxis to evening entertainment at 10 euros a journey
