We had to scramble to book this reservation the day or our stay because our VRBO cancelled our reservation. We couldn't have been happier. We had a great stay! The people were awesome! The Italian villa feel to the place was great, and the breakfast was amazing! We only had one night in Lucca, but wished we could have spent more time there, and in this amazing hotel.

Very elegant accommodations in a very elegant setting. Villa San Michele is everything an Italian villa should be! The building is timeless and the interior is glamorous. The entire staff is welcoming, professional, and friendly!! The wine list is extensive, the food is as imaginative as it is delicious! Very convenient to Lucca and Pisa. Plenty of on-site parking. Too cool to enjoy the pool, but the setting was lovely.

Fantastisk dejligt, hyggeligt og romatisk hotel - med masser af mulighed for ren afslapning lige uden for Lucca. Super god service og humør fra alle på hotellet. Havde en forstilling om at man kunne gå de 4 km til Lucca - men de første 1,5 km er på meget trafikeret landevej og unden fortov/gå sti - så ikke så sikkert.
