Unfortunately the cabin we stayed in (Cabin 3) had bedbugs. Discovered this around midnight and spent the next several hours using the laundry room to wash and dry all our luggage, which was an additional expense.
I raised this with hotel cleaning staff the following day, who were sympathetic and advised me to contact the owner. I attempted to contact them over phone, email, hotel website and through hotels.com but received no response whatsoever. I feel I have given adequate time between my stay (August 2025) and this review for them to, at an absolute minimum, acknowledge my messages. Currently pursuing a credit card chargeback.
This is a shame. The location is nice, the room well set up and there are decent amenities. But this really spoiled our stay.
