Looking for relaxing? This is it

This is the most tranquil hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. From the calming music on the lower floor to the super-chill staff and the saffron tea. The elevators with a mountain view on the far side, the corridors, everything. It’s all very relaxing. The room is well appointed, great views and a high-tech tv if that’s something you’re looking for. A comfy chair and a delightful bathroom.

There were some maintenance issues when we checked in but our room was upgraded to make our stay comfortable. We were offered the services of the hotel transport which we took. Hussian the driver was friendly and had good knowledge of the area which made our tours enjoyable. Overall we found the hotel nice & comfortable with good food and friendly staff. Thanks to Deizy for a smooth check in despite the maintenance issues. We recommend this hotel but be mindful of the challenges in Len , especially during winter.

This hotel wants to be a luxury property but it is not. The main problem is the noise. The windows of the room can open and the mechanisms to keep them close don't do a great job, so you hear ALL the noise coming from the street: every motorcycle going by, every honking car, dogs barking, all of it! You will not have a good night sleep at this property. Save your money and go to a much cheaper place that will give you the same experience. This place is definitely not worth the premium. While I was there the manager of the hotel was on vacation, and the staff very much behaved that way. The reception was often unmanned, at breakfast all the people would be at the back so nobody to bring you coffee or make you breakfast. I thought I would get a luxury experience here, it was the complete opposite! Stay across the street for 1/5th of the price!

Indus Valley is over rated and expensive property. The only positive is location near to Leh main market. Food is super expensive but there are multiple restaurants like Tibetan Kitchen and Chopsticks noodle bar nearby

This is a decent property in the heart of Leh. Great accessibility to the central market. The owner sure has some taste. If I were to nit-pick, some finer details might need a relook. Our shower cabin, for example, would leak all over the bathroom floor, as if there was no shower door. Stepping into a wet bathroom dilutes ones experience. The window panes were good quality, but were broken. Food is great here. No concerns there at all. They have a great chef. And they've a nice recreation room too. All in all a great property and makes for a comfortable stay.

The Hotel was good but not worth the money being charged. We went to the game room and it had not been cleaned at all. Since we were 4 people we asked for extra towels that were not delivered for a full day and I had to go catch the house keeping staff myself and ask for the towels. There was only one toilet paper roll provided and no backups. The hotel and its faclities are built well but the current managerial staff is not good.
