Basic hotel, no amenities to speak of . Room just ok, quiet and comfortable. I booked a “special one” room with a balcony and view of rooftops and rear of surrounding properties . Breakfast was basic and ran out of eggs. Lounge bar only offers drinks - no bar snacks or food. Good location .

I have stayed at Motel One Cologne Neumarkt several times and it is now my first choice when looking for somewhere to stay in Cologne. The hotel is modern, beautifully furnished, always immaculately clean and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.

Modern hotel in a convenient location. Nice bar area that was open late. About 15 minutes walk from the cathedral/station with lots of shops nearby. Good size room although bed almost seemed a bit small for the room.
