Loved the Poyz Hotel! the staff were excellent, the breakfasts were traditional Turkish and had eggs, and the owner has a world-class gym that he includes for guests that stay. If you're traveling awhile, the gym, with sauna and steam room were what the doc ordered. I can't rate the service any higher. This was the best price performer of our several month journey.

Very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, large, warm with additional outside space. Breakfast was plentiful (traditional Turkish) and not a buffet. We would stay there again for our next short break.

When I arrived to this hotel, the staff member wrote me a message that was translated on his phone to Turkish saying that my room was not available because of an issue with one of their personnel… He told me that he would set us up in a sea view room in a neighbouring hotel. I went along as I didn’t know about the other hotel, communication was difficult and I felt that I basically had no choice! Although the other hotel did have a sea view, the rooms were not renovated, AC was very loud and night clubs on the beach were also very loud all night. My son was not happy to be in that room. If there really was a genuine problem with my booking, the hotel should have written and given me the option to cancel in advance so I can choose another hotel of my liking. I really did not appreciate how this situation was handled.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was quite disappointing and fell well below our expectations. The room had an extremely strong cigarette smell, which did not go away even after airing it out for two full days. We had no choice but to sleep in this unpleasant environment throughout our stay. Additionally, the room only had a very thin sheet, and when we asked the reception for a blanket, we were told that none were available. This was quite disappointing in terms of basic comfort. The hotel is located on a hill, so getting around can be challenging if you don’t have your own car. The breakfast was decent, but nothing particularly special. The only real highlight of our stay was Paris, the adorable Poodle at the reception, who brought some joy to an otherwise disappointing experience. Unfortunately, apart from Paris, there was very little to appreciate about our stay.

We had a booking at The Poyz Hotel for September, specifically for a room with a terrace/balcony. Upon arrival, we were shown to a small room that had neither a terrace nor a balcony. The staff acknowledged that a mistake had been made, but suggested we could move to the room we had booked the following day—an offer we did not accept. After waiting for a couple of hours, they finally managed to provide the room we had originally booked. However, it in no way resembled the photos shown on the website. It was dirty. The bathroom sink was not functional; it was completely clogged with limescale. The shower didn't work either, for the same reason. Furthermore, all the towels were dirty. Realizing that this would not be a pleasant stay, we asked to check out, but the hotel refused. In the end, we found another, better hotel—though we still had to pay the full amount for our stay at The Poyz. Better that, however, than enduring a poor experience that, unfortunately, could not be saved. By the way, the hotel’s swimming pool is in the shade all day long. If you’re lucky, you might get some sun between 9:00 and 10:00 in the morning—making it pretty much useless. The Poyz cannot be recommended under any circumstances!

First room smelt of chemicals. Got moved. Second room had mould on walls and ceilings, some of the furniture tired and very dusty. Windows filthy, no offer of a further bed cover despite it being cold in the evenings, just a cotton throw was available. Pool not open or cleaned. The public areas needed cleaning and painting and some maintenance

Very nice place to stay and experience it. We’ve stayed here just for one night, so we didn’t try pool and breakfast, but the bed was soft, the bathroom was clean and fresh, the personal was open and polite. The views are also charming in the morning.
