We stayed over one night in Seattle during a 9 day roadtrip. My wife was trying to grab a cool boutique Swanky place. She booked a "no view" room thinking it meant it wasn't really noteworthy but it was actually a window to a brick wall that opened out the top to the outside. It made the room feel extremely small and tight. The amenities were not bad, the bed wasn't great but it was super clean and it might've just been my preference. The girl checking in was super cool and friendly but no valet and the chaos a block from the Public Market was not cool. Had to use an app to buy parking down the block, drive there, and walk back. For an upscale place, I'd think valet would be worthwhile. We also did a Mariners game that ended early but even so, everything in the hotel was pretty much shut down by 9 something when we returned. We would've liked to have checked out the rooftop bar but it was a super early close. We ate brunch the next day and the food was really pretty good. Our friends from the area also said the chef's choice dinner is to die for. For some of the bad, outside the window to the wall, we had pigeons that were loud like you could not believe. I think mama pigeon took up residency and she was a moody, loud, b$&*%. The window was also completely covered in bird poop. I don't blame the hotel for a pigeon but it was loud and they were aware of it when I mentioned at the front desk. Good place, some limitations, great staff, would maybe try again.
