the only issue I have is with the outside of the hotel. Apparently there are some homeless issue in the neighborhood so the smell of urine on the very hot day is off-putting. Also, people walk their dog and there is no grass or watering done by the City of Barcelona. Hotel is clean and odor free.

Great stay at the Chic&Basic Zoo! We really appreciated the powerful A/C, helpful staff who let us check in early and stow our bags before check in and after check out. It was very quiet, and close to lots of restaurants and shops. It was a solid 20 minute walk to most things but very close to a train station, main bus routes, and the parc which we enjoyed!
