Experienced difficulty with the email notification on how to access the lock box to enter the property using contact free check in. Thankfully we were able to reach an employee who was on property and helped us get our room key.

Loved this place!

This was a great place to stay. It had its own parking spots and was central to walking for food and groceries. Very beautiful area! We also loved that it was very close the trail we had planned to hike. The room was very clean, the breakfast buffet was good, and the staff at the place were friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend!

I am very disappointed with our stay for 2 nights. First, I arrived at 1:30pm and can’t get into front entrance door at all because I need a code which I did not receive until 2:37pm. I was waiting outside of the front door. One of the lady work happen to pass by and saw us (me & my husband) with 2 luggages waiting outside and asked why I don’t get inside and said I should receive the code which I did not. She brought me to the receptionist, immediately the receptionist told me I still owe city tax without any greeting. I had prepaid my 2 nights of room & board months ago and the first thing you see me is asking for 7 euros of city tax, give me a break, please. Secondly are the water temperature and pressure not consistent and stable. I end up not washing my hair for 2 nights of my stay because I was waiting in the shower too long for the water temperature and pressure to be stable. I guess it depends on how many people are taking showers the time we showered. I do not recommend the B&B at all.

Superbe séjour en famille avec mes garçons ! L'hôtel Zertenbach est d'une propreté irréprochable, chaleureux et cocooning. Très bien équipé (Savons, lave-linge, sèche-linge, …), le personnel est formidable, attentionné et souriant. L'emplacement est parfait : restaurants, supermarché, transports en commun et départ de la randonnée des gorges de la Ravenna sont juste à côté. Un grand merci pour la carte KONUS offerte dès l'arrivée, idéale pour voyager gratuitement en bus et train dans la Forêt-Noire. Je reviendrai sans hésiter ! Seul petit point à noter : les serviettes sont changées à la demande.

Gutes Frühstück. Nettes Personal. Zimmer zur Hauptstrasse, obwohl ein ruhiges Zimmer gewünscht war. Einrichtung nicht wie auf den Fotos. Kein Zimmerservice während fünf Tagen, obwohl im Zimmer steht: aus Nachhaltigkeitsgründen alle drei Tage. Keine Abstellplätze für Fahrräder. Check in und Check out nur online, keine Rezeption spürbar. Günstiges Hotel, dafür muss man halt Abstriche machen.

Alles in allem ein nettes Hotel in zentraler Lage in Hinterzarten, fußläufig zu den Langlaufloipen. Frühstück war ausreichend, allerdings war leider zu wenig Personal, um das Buffet wieder zeitnah aufzufüllen, wenn man zu spät kam, war manches schon leer.

Das Frühstück war grenzwertig. Um 9 Uhr waren fast alle Auslagen leer, auf Anfrage wurde minimal nachgelegt. Der Kaffeevollautomat hatte an beiden Tagen gemuckt. Es war Zufall wenn man ein Heißgetränk ziehen konnte. Personal sprach nur englisch. Lage des Hotels war perfekt für den Besuch des Weihnachtsmarktes in der Ravennaschlucht.

Incheckning efter kl 18 med nyckelbox. Funkade alldeles utmärkt. Rummet var litet och vette mot gatan (Freiburger Strasse), dvs vi kunde inte sova med halvöppet fönster. Annars bra, lite trångt kanske, men sängen var en fröjd. Frukostbuffén lämnade inget att önska. Fri parkering framför/bredvid huset.
