Great property, but...

I stayed at the Snow Lake Lodge. In the past, I had some great experiences there. This time, I found the staff attentive and friendly, and the property very clean and well-maintained. My only issue is that my mattress was terrible. I was in room 201, and I could feel the springs on the mattress. It is clear it needs to be replaced. It was bad enough that my girlfriend and I left early the last day to go home and sleep in our own bed. But for this fixable issue, it would be a 5 star stay!

This trip to this lodge was terrible!!! The power completely when out two hours after I arrived and did come back. The next morning the power was still out and I decided to leave due to the power being out. I asked the lodge for a refund and they refused to give me a refund. So they basically wanted me to complete my stay even though we had no power. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the way management handled my situation. I will never go back to this place again!!!

Snow lake lodge has become my go to spot for lodging when I go up to Big Bear. The condos are clean and well kept, the staff is very friendly and i enjoy using the hot tub after a day of snowboarding.

Disappointing Stay

We wanted peace and quiet for our stay in Big Bear. We have been returning to this lodge as we were satisfied in the past with their customer service. I had requested the 3rd floor a month in advance but was given 1st floor. Our upstairs neighbors had kids running around all day and night. When we complained the front desk stated they can’t do anything except send a text message out. We didn’t get any rest at night or was able to sleep in due to the guests that keeps stomping the whole time we were there. Please don’t stay here if you can’t get the top floor. You hear every noise your neighbors make from toilet flushing to water running;very thin walls.
