Stayed in room 6 on the top floor for a romantic weekend away with the Mrs. The room was lovely and the bath was a really nice added extra. We had a slight issue with one of the radiators not heating which caused the room to be cold, however I called one of the provided numbers and an electric heater was provided within literally 5 minutes by a lovely girl working there. Breakfast was really nice and the staff were super accommodating. I would definitely recommend considering a stay here and room 6 was a lovely room for a romantic night away.

We have just returned from a lovely stay in the lakes, problem with room on arrival but was sorted straight away. Breakfast was good and lady serving breakfast was lovely made sure you left full. Hotel was closing for 6 weeks to do some renovation and updating which is good overall would stay again.

Nice and friendly love the loo....

I had to ring to find out room number but was fine after that rather small room but well decorated and handy plugs and a light thing, charger which didn't work. I loved the Japanese loo thing. And fab bathroom. Great welcome at breakfast, quick and professional.

A trip of two halves.

We booked for 4 nights but had to change rooms after the 2nd night. The mattress in room 5 was stained and smelly. The room had a beam across the bed (with lots of wires behind it!) and we both banged our head on the beam. Not sure why such a small room had a three seater sofa in it. The new room, room 10, was much nicer and fresher. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
