The rooms and facilities are good but check-in process can be cumbersome the first time. I have got 15-20 automated emails, had to provide all the numbers on my bank card to them (they can change for damages if any), sign off a comprehensive contract and using the phone to physically open doors at the hotel via webpages (there isn't an app). All this can be time consuming and stressful.

So…this hotel was nice, clean, and bug free! I didn’t have an issue with getting into the room at all, but I didn’t help a few people who didn’t know what to do. Just read your emails, do everything early and you won’t have trouble. My room had a shared bathroom, but I was the only one using that bathroom, so it wasn’t an issue. There are many bathrooms on the first floor. The room was super clean. The bed was cozy. The location is amazing. There is a mall with a large grocery store 5 mins away. Also the metro is 5 mins away and downtown Madrid is about a 25-30 min metro ride. No complaints! But I was a little scared about what would happen if I lost my phone or dropped it in the toilet in the middle of the night. :/

Great Accommodation!

It was amazing!!! I was a bit worried about the accommodation based on the reviews but my expectations were beyond succeeded. Checking in/getting into the building was beyond easy (you simply click a button!) and the room/bathroom was very clean and homey. The location was also beyond ideal, right next to the Canillas metro line. It was easy to get to and from the city + to the airport. And not even to mention that the accommodation was extremely inexpensive. You get more than what you’re paying for! I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and will be booking with AYZ again for my future travels to Madrid.

Pretty good for 1 night in between flights, 3 stops from the airport 1 transfer. Clean and comfy beds. Thin walls and guest coming dragging luggage all the time. There not much to do around but in a 5min easy walk you’re at the metro station and 15 in Barajas. If you don’t have a cellphone plan in Spain this is not the place for you because you need internet connection to open the doors! I recommend it

nice property, about a 3-4 minute walk from the train/metro station which was bliss. and about a 5-7 minute walk away from a shopping center with quick access to food. there was also free water available downstairs which was amazing, shared bathroom but it was pretty clean. there was no staff present but we had no problems checking in and out, building and room doors are operated by an email link on your phone so make sure it has good charge before you go anywhere. there was a fan which was nice, only downside was the blankets were legit sheets, but other than that it was a decent stay in a good area. :)

Honestly did not have high hopes, with reviews of cockroaches the previous year and pretty poor reviews generally. Not going to lie, the first night was absolutely fine with a functional AC and a decent sleep. However, the second night we came back to several cockroaches scurrying around our luggage and the furniture in the room. We immediately booked a room somewhere else and got an Uber away as we could not stay in a room where the cockroaches are free to move between the floor and walls with no idea how many there are. Not bad for a night but our experience wasn’t too pleasant - maybe it’s a summer thing as no one else has had similar problems for a while but happy holiday booking!

The location is good, near the Metro. The school is next door. It's extremely noisy. The check-in is a big headache. They want to make it all automatic. But their IT people are not experienced and drive guests nuts. I stayed there for 3 days. I did not see a single guest to be happy with their system. Imagine waiting in the heat for 2-3 hours at the front door to get an instruction email from their AI or IT. If you leave the hotel, you may not be able to get into your room because their application may not work for you. There is no direct customer service contacts. You are always under the surveillance cameras from front door to stairs and hallways. It might feel safe, but you have no privacy. The shared with (12 other people) bathroom and shower walls are all molded. Watch out if you are allergic to the molds. They have no TV to reduce the noise and make a relaxing environment. You get anything except relaxation. I would not recommend to my friends and family.
