This hotel was amazing. Had two bathrooms and so much space. The area was quiet and beautiful out in the country. The breakfast that was included was amazing and brought right to your room. Superb property in a gorgeous location. Breakfast deliverd to your door, wonderful. The restaurant on the property is first class, but there are plenty of alternatives nearby. Room was spacious, comfortable and very very clean.

Great place, and very conveniently located to drive around Lausanne and the surrounding locations. The food and service were excellent. One of the TVs in our apartment did not work, and couldn’t be repaired in time. But it wasn’t a big deal when compared to the other positives.

We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. The venue was very convenient both to Lausanne and Geneva and there was ample parking at the hotel. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good but we were in the courtyard and it began to rain. We were fine as we had an umbrella directly above the table. Other customers were not as fortunate. It is not cheap to visit Switzerland but charging 5 francs for a bottle of water from the mini bar after a long journey on the first night was rather a distraction especially as we had left a complimentary bottle of water ( received with the breakfast) in the fridge. These are petty issues and does not take away from the fact that the hotel gives good quality care in a sought after tourist area.
