The pod hostel is located centrally in the village, which made it great for getting around. The bed, rooms, lockers, and shared facilities were all well maintained and clean. The towels included in the cost of the booking is a nice touch. The only thing I found irksome was that there were no hand towels or hand dryers next to any of the sinks, I’m assuming this is to reduce waste and noise and use the towel included in the booking.

The pods are functional and quite well fitted. The hotel/hostel is not set up for guest food preparation but the staff in the restaurant heated soup for me on two occasions in their microwave which was appreciated. It’s very central and apart from the all day/evening pumped musak (apparently so folk can poop without fear of being heard! Seriously, that’s what I was told!!!) and lively music one night from the bar until quite late, I’d a comfortable stay. The breakfast options were good. It’s the cheapest option in an expensive town so worth it.

I can only say good things about this place. The staff was super nice and helpful. The pod was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Toilet, shower with amenities, an extra sink and a changing place was all separate from each other and never a problem to use. It was super quiet and clean. They even have extra locker stalls right next to your pod (need to bring own lock or buy at FD). I was lucky to get a lower pod. The steps to get to the upper pod didn’t look very convenient. The location is exceptional for the price and they do have hairdryer (just have to ask for it!). I stayed for four nights and would stay there again.

Right in the village & only $65 USD per night! The sleep was very comfortable & the room capsules /pods were bigger than I thought. I’m 6’3 & 250lbs it was solid. Pangea Pod Hotel is a fantastic launchpad if you are planning to hike Joffre Lakes. We spent the night here getting well-rested before our trek. The pods offer excellent privacy, great ventilation, and a remarkably quiet environment for a shared space. We loved grabbing a quick breakfast at their cafe saved us so much time in the morning.

Everything was excellent. The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay overall. The only issue we noticed was that the bathroom door's automatic closer was quite loud. Whenever someone opened or closed the door, it made a significant noise that could disturb people who were sleeping. It might be helpful to adjust or repair the door closer to reduce the noise, as this would make the stay even more comfortable for future guests.
