Good value base for El Escorial and the Sierra

The Hostal is in an excellent location - just next to a park in the centre of Guadarrama, which is an excellent base for exploring the Sierra and visiting El Escorial. It is attached to a popular bar serving good food. The Hostal is quite typical for Spain: all the basics but no frills for a very reasonable price. Room was perfectly adequate and very clean. We would stay there again. Note that reception is handled from the bar so you have to phone to say when you expect to arrive. We arrived about 21.30 so had no problems checking in and getting a meal. But the bar isn't 24 hour.

Es un hostal céntrico.

El personal muy amable. Habría que mejorar las camas y sobretodo el ruido de la gente que va al bar del hostal, ya que abre a las 6 de la mañana y va toda la gente que sale de juerga. No recomiendo el bar de la plaza que tiene una camarera con toda la pinta de fumeta que tarda siglos en atenderte. El bar del hostal está muy bien.
