I would suggest the resort manager that they be more specific in listing which villas have stove which ones have just a microwave. As well as what kind of coffee maker the villas have. This info would be beneficial to extended stay guests. Since there’s no grocery stores nearby, we brought a pizza and Keurig K-cups. We couldn’t use either as our unit did not have a stove or Keurig machine. A toaster in the unit would have been nice so we could toast bagels. Bottom line, we would stay there again as it’s a nice area.

The location was good as it put us halfway between two stops on our trip. Check in was smooth and staff was friendly. The landscaping in front of this set of villas was poor compared to the other sets of villas. The floors in the villa were not clean at all, we all ended up with very dirty feet. There was trash under the bed.

Felt Brand New!

The cottage was lovely and bright and felt brand new. A few things were missing. There was no luggage stand for our suitcase, there was no hook in the bathroom for a robe or toiletry bag. Also, they require the guest to wash their own dishes before check out. I certainly didn't like the looks of the glasses that the previous guest "washed".

We enjoyed the restaurant. But the day we were there for lunch. The service was very slow. The woman that was waitressing seemed to be frazzled after a few more people showed up. Then suddenly she yelled have a great day andwalked out . We had received our food but were the only ones who had ordered and received our food. Everyone else had no food or hadnt ordered . I just felt bad for everyone. A guy came in from Tallahassee and finished up with us and took everyone else's order. It was the only problem we had .The rest of the time we enjoyed our stay

To begin with, the entire area from I'd say Perry to Apalachicola is terribly depressed, impoverished and populated with a lot of unfriendly and unhappy people. On this property, the one fellow who they call Coach appears to do every job that is administrative in nature. You see, since you check into your Villa at the pro shop, and you make your reservations there for both The villas and tee times, Coach has his hands full. Of course he also has to tend to the needs of the pro shop, checking in golfers and selling apparel and merchandise etc. I'm not sure where everybody else was. The property is in the state of construction/renovation such that it's very difficult to navigate on foot, which is the only way since they have no porters or luggage carousels or any of that nature to help you get your belongings from your vehicle in the parking lot to the villa. They did have two parking places that were closer to my villa, but they had cones in front of them for no parking during my stay, only to be removed as I was literally leaving the parking lot for the last time. The villas are very nice, they are essentially tiny homes and I think they are very nice and appointed well. However there is so much ambient light outside that you need to bring something to cover your eyes when you sleep. But they were very comfortable. The resort offered me an additional night at half price and then reneged on it. The golf was lovely.

Great stay not so great gold

The stay was great, we stayed in one of the condos and not many complaints there. There were a few small things if you wanted to nit pick but I don’t expect perfection. Only real complaint would be of the golfing experience. For $100 per person I would have expected a little better. Greens were great but tee boxes and most of the fairway was little more than dirt. We were also one of the few people on the course but still found ourselves being held up by workers who seemed to not care that they were holding us up with no one behind us.
