This was perfect for me for a quick stop and visit the Melk monastery. Breakfast was simple but with good quality and fresh!

Excellent location. Walk able to many aménités.

Overall very good. Excellent location. Issue with Checkin which was at a hotel 100 feet or so uphill from this hôtel. Notice of this was done only at entrance to hotel. Breakfast also serves at the other hôtel. Both hotels have same Owner.

2/10 Poor

Detrimental experience. Let me be factual: 1. Rude, discourteous receptionist. I was accused of trying to smuggle in a pet from my car. I told receptionist >5x that I don!t have a pet, whereas he said he saw a pet cage in my car. I was then threatend that I will be fined 1500 € if it turns out I brought in a pet. 2. Room #9: - No towel rack or hook to hang up the wet towels - thin walls so you overhere whats happening next room - broken shower sliding door - the bed sheet is smaller then the mattress.

Great location, poor condition

The hotel is quite small. It's in a great location close to the town square and Melk Abbey. It is also walking distance to the ferry dock. The staff were friendly and helpful. However we spotted a few cockroaches in out room. The shower did not drain properly.

Nice and close to everything, larger than expected, but a bit confusing layout. Staff were courteous, but not very eager or able to help with parking issues.

Nice night in Melk

Worked perfect for one night in Melk. Convenient to the Wachau Valley as well as Melk Abbey,, which is steps away from the pension. The staff was very friendly and helpful. .

Ok for the price

A slightly tired Pension which provides an appropriate experience for the rate charged. Be aware that booking.com nominates breakfast is included in the advertised rate, however the owner said this was wrong and we had to pay.
