The outside of the hotel wasn’t too good, I was quite dreading going in. I was pleasantly surprised with the room, we had a free upgrade-the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. They supply free earplugs and a white noise machine which is very much needed as there is a pub on the street which is very loud! The bed was very comfortable but I wouldn’t stay again due to the noise ☹️

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nineteen. We had booked a last minute trip down the day before and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. The instructions provided were very clear, great communication from the hotel staff. We were greeted by a very friendly host who was more than happy to help us out, particularly helping us navigate the very busy traffic of Brighton to find our parking space. The room was really well equipped, with all clean bedding, towels and even milk and breakfast pieces to save us a trip out to the shops after driving for so long. The room had air conditioning available, so ideal for anyone planning to stay during the warmer months. The hotel is ideally located close to the beach and the palace pier, so could not be any closer to where you likely have traveled to Brighton for. Extra credit should be made to the staff members, who even after our stay, went out of their way to help out with some queries we had - would absolutely recommend this place to anyone else planning their next trip to Brighton.

Positionally, the hotel is a very short walk to the seafront, Sea-Life centre and Pier, making it ideally placed for those wanting to explore the beach area and tourist attractions. Really lovely place to stay in an excellent location. About 15 minutes from the train stations, 2 minutes from the beach, less than 5 minutes to the pier. Really friendly and helpful member of staff (apologies I didn't get her name) greeted us and took us to the room. Room feels homely, comfortable bed, excellent strong shower. Snacks, water, tea and milk all included, and there's a little fridge. Air conditioning unit and sleep machine also in the room. Would stay here again.

Great location right by the seafront - the room was spotlessly clean, and though there's no breakfast available the snacks/refreshments there were greatly appreciated. You're also right by some independent cafes and walking distance of all the major chains so you're not limited on choices. There was a very njce lady there to greet us at check in who let us in and explained how to work the blinds/front door etc. My only negatives were - A) difficult initially to get a response to a query; I didn't hear back via Expedia and couldn't get anyone on the phone so ended up WhatsApping them (which felt weird but got a near immediate reply and is a verified business account) B) this isn't even a negative, I'm just confused; the listing said there was ping pong and something else and I just don't understand where they were? Unless they just mean in the local area Both of those are very minor against the value for money and security and cleanliness of the room (it was also very quiet for a Saturday night in the middle of town) and I would absolutely recommend and stay again.
