We loved our stay at Hotel Alpspitz. We booked two rooms and both were so comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was great. Very room and great mountain views. Parking was nice and the breakfast spread was great every morning. Felix was a great host, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again if we visit the region again. Perfect for US Military – Large Rooms & Amazing Breakfast!" ​I had an incredible experience here and highly recommend this stay, especially for Americans stationed in the area. One of the biggest perks is that they accept VAT forms, which made the process so much easier and more affordable for us. The accommodations were top-notch: ​ The Rooms: Very, very big and nicely furnished. It was exceptionally clean, and they did a great job maintaining the room throughout the stay. ​The Breakfast: They made a wonderful breakfast every single morning, complete with fresh scrambled eggs or hard-boiled eggs. ​Convenience: They provided everything we needed (like shower soap), and parking was very easy, which is a huge relief. ​If you are looking for a spacious, clean place that understands the needs of the military community and handles the paperwork correctly, this is it!

Onsite free parking, spacious room, comfortable beds, access to bus stop and train across the street (although neither one was noisy), excellent variety at the breakfast buffet, friendly and helpful hotel host, great proximity to the Zugspitze and Eibsee, quieter and more peaceful than being in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Can you tell I really recommend this place? I seriously can't say enough good things. There is some road noise but it isn't heard during the night. We stayed in summer when Germany was experiencing very high temps and were able to stay cool enough with the windows open at night.

Such a wonderful family run hotel. The staff were great and very helpful, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Wir waren zu dritt als Familie für vier Tage in diesem Hotel und rundum zufrieden. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und sehr lecker – absolut empfehlenswert! Auch die Lage des Hotels ist top: zentral und dennoch ruhig.
