The stay @ the motel was truly exceptional. Although they are going through major renovation, the work was mostly behind the scene. The room that We had was entirely new. Very nicely done and immaculately clean. Large rooms and amenities were readily available. Staff and service workers were very friendly and helpful. Whenever we visit Greenville S.C., we always stay at Midtown Suites. The low scores are only because they are doing a complete remodel of the hotel and there is a lot going on. The Hotel is always quite and clean and the location is excellent because it is close to everything.

My go to hotel for in town stay. This time I stayed in a newly remodeled room. The room was very clean as they usually are. The colors are very modern and neutral. I highly recommend this hotel. They are still under renovations so please don't hold this against them.

Checked in close to midnight because of a delayed flight and I booked just to get some rest before traveling again. I specifically asked the gentlemen at the desk for a noon checkout, which was granted to me. Housekeeping tried to barge into my door at 9am and would have come all the way in if I didn’t have the stopper on the door. My door was knocked on 2 more times before 11 am. There were no “Do Not Disturb” hangers available for the door and obviously my request wasn’t communicated to the housekeeping staff. The hotel itself was fine but there needs to be better communication with the staff for special requests.

BEWARE - UNDER RENOVATIONS!!

This hotel was pricier than other nearby options but had good ratings which is why I booked it. Beware that as of early May 2025, this place is a TOTAL CONSTRUCTION ZONE!! Even our “completed” room still had punch list items not done. The price they are asking for here is well overpriced for the condition of the hotel. It should be about half the cost it is per night given its condition.
