The location was fairly neat, but there’s no actual staff member present at the front desk or anywhere on the property. When we arrived, the room was very warm, so we texted about the air conditioner and were told the thermostat was on the wall. We turned it on, and it worked for about 15 minutes before shutting off.
The next day, I texted to ask if an iron and ironing board were available but received no response. I also reached out again about the AC, as I kept waking up sweating — the room stayed at around 74 degrees all night, and the AC wouldn’t come on until about 10 a.m., only running briefly before turning off again.
After three nights of uncomfortable sleep, I texted once more and was ignored until I contacted Hotels.com. To make a long story short, I stayed five nights without any room service, the room remained uncomfortably warm, and the lady on the monitor was unhelpful and confusing. It’s clear the AC unit is controlled by the motel staff, even though they make it seem like guests can adjust it themselves.
The room was clean when we arrived.
I asked to have clean sheets and the room cleaned after the 3rd night and was told that the lady is not available until my last night, which makes
