Upon arrival, staff were aloof and unwelcoming. No secure baggage storage whilst we waited for the room to be ready.
Half of the building was still under construction, with strong paint and adhesive smells. The room itself was fine, but did not resemble the photos.
The bed was extremely small, very difficult for us both to fit comfortably. Possibly the worst part however, was the temperature. Despite leaving the windows open all night, it was extremely warm, even though the temperature outside was around 10 degrees. There was no air conditioning and I'm pretty sure the heating was switched on, despite staff claims to the contrary.
As a cheaper option, I wasn't expecting miracles, but the negatives mentioned above could easily be addressed if they wanted to and you still pay a lot of money when you compare to hotels outside of London.
Positives, excellent location and the room was pretty clean.
