Exactly what we needed! It is small but we use it to sleep, shower, eat breakfast and sometimes lunch and go back out! Perfect location for us! Near to family and steps from public beach access! Everyone we met was friendly and it is clean and remodeled. Nice linens, Nice sheets! Has everything you need to cook meals. Perfect for 2 people!

We loved our cute little room which is clean and had everything we needed, including beach towels to borrow! Special little details make a beautiful difference in experience. No ocean view, but a short walk to the beach, you can also borrow beach chairs and umbrellas! The courtyard is well kept for relaxing in sun or shade. The Carousel Motel is conveniently located next to an ocean themed bar, bbq grill place with good food and drinks. The motel is also right next to a trolley stop which we used to visit other beaches and restaurants up and down from Clearwater to st Pete’s beach. We will stay here again if we come to the same area!

Carousel was exactly as described and as shown in photos. The kitchenette and BBQ came in really handy to have easy meals in the room or on the garden patio. The location was perfect - 1min walk to the (extremely clean) beach and away from crowds/high-rises. Manager was on-site (big plus), answered questions quickly and made sure we were comfortable. The room was so cool, I wish we could have spent more time there. Had everything we needed!

Carousel did exactly what it needed to do. It was a clean, safe, simple place to use as a “base camp” for quick beach access, as well as access to restaurants and other attractions in the vicinity. We were there for a wedding, and the bride needed hands on support at short notice. This location was perfect for going up and down the area quickly. And the sunsets were easy to see!

Little Hidden Gem

The word motel usually gives a "low standard vibe" however while the outside appears "dated" the room was cleaner than most 4 and 5 star hotels. The location is amazing. Walk to the beach or walk across the street to the intercoastal and drop a fishing line. Some great restaurants nearby that are not chains and if you want you can cook at the room. They have pots and pans, dishes, etc. The one downside is the parking. It is tight. We will definitely keep this place in our books as a place to stay again in the future.

Great place with short walk to beach.

Very clean and comfortable. Beds were great. Host was very accommodating and friendly. Only negative was we thought it was ON the beach based on description but it's not. There are other homes behind it. You have to walk a little down the road then go thru the public parking lot to get to the beach. No big deal but we were expecting it to be ON the beach. It was at one time before new construction behind it. Still a great little place to stay. Quiet and comfortable.
